Ingelia is a leading company in hydrothermal carbonization, with 17 patents from 7 different developments, 8 plants on the market (Europe and Asia) with IngeliaHTC technology.
Ingelia is the leading company in the hydrothermal carbonization sector, with 7 patent families on industrial development carried out and 3 plants commissioned in Europe. The main equipment and systems of HTC plants have been designed and patented by Ingelia.
Thanks to the research, development and application efforts carried out in this technology since 2007, Ingelia can offer solutions for the valorisation of different types of biomass , solving the problem of organic waste management and generating bioproducts in line with the objectives of the European Commission.
Since July 2010, Ingelia has been operating one of the first industrial plants in the world to use HTC technology. After years of research into this technology and its products, Ingelia launched its innovative industrial process in 2016, becoming one of the pioneering companies in the industrial application of this innovative technology.
