New UpCarb R&D project

Ingelia, continuing with its strategy of technological leadership in hydrothermal biomass carbonization technology (IngeliaHTC), has begun the process of implementing new industrial equipment at its HTC plant that will allow the technological developments carried out in recent years to be transferred to an industrial scale, allowing us to present to the market more advanced HTC technology for the use of hydrochar in bioproducts for different industrial sectors.

The UpCarb project has the support of the Department of Innovation, Industry, Trade and Tourism of the Generalitat Valenciana, through the " Aid Program to promote industrial projects that are strategic for the reindustrialization of the Valencian Community, for the year 2024 (STRATG) ".

Ingelia's UpCarb project proposes a global investment of €1,476,683.60 for the three-year period 2024-2026, of which the Regional Ministry will contribute up to €656,477.78 through the subsidy.
